Most players are looking for that rubber that fits them just right. Nittaku has introduced the Fastarc series with a variety to choose from. The C-1 comes into the series softer than G-1 and P-1 but a bit harder than S-1 for more speed while still maintaining a high degree of control. Slower and controllable in the short game, good placement and pace on medium shots, and power on solid shots.

Used on my forehand.
The sponge is soft but the topsheet is hard, so the feel is on the firmer side.
I can handle all the basic techniques fine, so I don't have any real complaints, but when I try to lift the opponent's backspin with a loop drive,
I slip off the ball quite a bit. It's not that the topsheet lacks grip, but I feel unsure about my technique against backspin.
I don't really feel any standout strength, so that's the score I'm giving it.I think it's good for building up technique. Or maybe it'd work better on the backhand...

I switched over from Rozena.
At the level of basic hitting, I felt like it wasn't that different. Blocking doesn't change much either.
I think backhand drives get more spin than with Rozena. With Rozena — maybe it was how I was hitting it — the ball had more speed and felt easier for opponents to block, but with C-1 the ball sometimes looks like it has no spin but actually does, or looks spinny but doesn't, and that's let me start winning points even in backhand-to-backhand rallies.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

I use Medium thickness on the backhand.
Easy to control, and shots go in most of the time. Chiquita and short over-the-table backhand drives are especially easy. It's fine on the forehand too, but if you back away from the table, you'll probably feel it lacks power. Same goes for the backhand.

I used C1 on both sides (Max thickness) on a slightly lighter Nittaku blade called the Amin. My impression after using it: each individual technique is easy to pull off! It gets spin and I can control it, so I could hit the way I wanted. And on things like blocks, I didn't lose out to the opponent's power — it's very stable, so it's a personal favorite. Though I do feel it's a bit lacking in speed.

I use a Tribe FO OFF/S, with Rasant R47 on the forehand and C-1 on the backhand. As a test, I compared it against G-1 and Rakza X Soft. Personally, C-1 works fine on either backhand or forehand, but hitting with it on the backhand, Rakza X Soft felt stable, with spin but no speed, while G-1 had both spin and speed but wasn't stable. C-1, on the other hand, is stable and has speed too, and since the topsheet is supposedly the same as G-1's top layer, it really does generate a lot of spin. If you're stuck on what to put on your backhand, it's worth trying once. On top of that, C-1's sponge is apparently the same as S-1's sponge, which adds even more speed. Now, some people might say "of course it's fast, your blade is really bouncy with an outer-fiber layer," but when I borrowed a friend's Timo Boll CAF and hit with it, I was surprised by C-1's spin, speed, and stability, so I started using it myself — I'd definitely recommend it! If you like your forehand a bit softer, putting it there is also an option!

I think it's an easy-to-use rubber with no technique that's particularly hard to pull off.
It's a little soft and the ball sinks in easily, so I'd recommend it for players without much power or anyone who prioritizes stability. I think serves bite well too.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

Personally I prefer this over G1.
I used it alternating between forehand and backhand.
On the forehand, the ball released from the rubber nicely, making it easy to hit.
Serves and pushes can be controlled well, both long and short.
Drives felt like the ball really sank into the rubber, which I thought was great.
Lifting backspin wasn't much different from G1 — the ball often didn't clear the net.
On the backhand, meet-hitting was very good.
Blocks landed nicely and were easy to control, I thought.
For counters, meet shots go in well, but on drives you lose the spin battle, so it wasn't great.
