Most players are looking for that rubber that fits them just right. Nittaku has introduced the Fastarc series with a variety to choose from. The C-1 comes into the series softer than G-1 and P-1 but a bit harder than S-1 for more speed while still maintaining a high degree of control. Slower and controllable in the short game, good placement and pace on medium shots, and power on solid shots.

    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
Highly rated as a stability-focused rubber suitable for beginners to intermediate players. Backhand usage is particularly recommended, offering excellent ball control and spin despite its soft sponge. Some advanced players note a lack of speed and power for competitive play.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Excellent stability and ease of use on backhand
    • Easy to apply spin with good short-range technique
    • Soft sponge ideal for beginners but lower maximum performance
    • Long durability and good rubber longevity
    • Pairing with Fastarc G1 on forehand is recommended
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveDespite being a lightweight German rubber, it has sufficient bounce. The soft sponge provides excellent grip for precise shot placement, making it an all-around excellent rubber.
▽ CriticalSlightly slow with moderate spin. Lacks the power desired by advanced players seeking maximum speed.

God of table tennis (Experience: 2〜3 years) Good rubber

      Reviews by user

First off, I have to say it's really easy to use!!
Drives spin like crazy! Speed depends on your swing speed, but it's really good! It's soft though, so you hit it by really sinking the ball in. I had G-1 on my backhand before, and the combo works great. The refreshing feel of two-winged drives is amazing!

      Reviews by user

I use this on my backhand.
It's an all-round rubber with no real weaknesses in any technique.
It's not too hard, and spin, speed, and balance are all good, so I think it suits beginner to intermediate players.
It's not heavy, so I think it's easy to use for anyone from kids to women players.
It's very easy to use and produces a clean, quirk-free ball, so I imagine it's easy for opponents to return too.
It doesn't have any standout traits, but it's a good, stable rubber ☆

zenitsu529 (Experience: Less than a year) Top class in everything

      Reviews by user

At first, since it's a tension rubber, it had a lot of bounce and was hard to control, but once you get used to it, shots really start landing well. It gets good spin and speed too, so personally I really like it.

      Reviews by user

With the same series' G-1 topsheet and S-1 sponge, the balance between speed and spin is amazing. Brushing drives are easy to hit, and I'd recommend it to intermediate players or anyone who finds G-1 too hard.

Invincible man only inside the club (Experience: 2〜3 years) Only the control is good

      Reviews by user

Both speed and spin are decent.
Control is way easier compared to Rakza 7.

Just Snow Warashi (Experience: 2〜3 years) A super stable, high-performance rubber

      Reviews by user

I use it on my backhand.
      - In rallies, I get a nice sense of speed. It picks up a little spin naturally too, so I occasionally got overs.
      - On drives, the sponge really sinks in, so I can put good spin on the ball while still getting speed.
      - Pushes and stops at the table are stable too, and it's easy to vary long and short.

Overall I felt it was a really well-balanced, good rubber. If you take good care of it, I think it lasts quite a long time.

Shun Tempura (Experience: Less than a year) Best for backhand

      Reviews by user

      Pros
At first I used it on my forehand and my drives landed cleanly.
Good bounce and easy to use!
Next I tried it on the backhand
      Forehand: G1
      Backhand: C1
Used on the backhand, chiquita is easy and lands cleanly
Also, the ball sinks in nicely, so backhand smashes and backhand drives landed cleanly too — it felt really good to use
This is a rubber I really want people to try at least once
      It's also a bit cheaper than G1 and P1
      Cons
Lifting backspin was very difficult, and unless you do it just right, it often doesn't go in
