Most players are looking for that rubber that fits them just right. Nittaku has introduced the Fastarc series with a variety to choose from. The C-1 comes into the series softer than G-1 and P-1 but a bit harder than S-1 for more speed while still maintaining a high degree of control. Slower and controllable in the short game, good placement and pace on medium shots, and power on solid shots.

Players use Fastarc C-1
- Excellent stability and ease of use on backhand
- Easy to apply spin with good short-range technique
- Soft sponge ideal for beginners but lower maximum performance
- Long durability and good rubber longevity
- Pairing with Fastarc G1 on forehand is recommended

It's easy to lift backspin with a drive. You get a more stable drive than with G1 or Rozena. That said, the sponge is a bit soft, so I wouldn't expect much speed. For people with a fast swing or a lot of power, the ball might lift too much and you could get more overs than with other rubbers. Still, among the Fastarc series it's the easiest for thin, brushing strokes, so I'd recommend it for people who are good at high-spin backhand drives.

(Comparing this rubber to Rozena.)
Speed: Rozena = C-1
Spin: Rozena < C-1
Control: C-1 < RozenaThat's how it turned out.

It doesn't have any standout traits, and I mean that in a good way — it's a rubber without a strong personality.
Since the topsheet is the same as G1, there are no complaints about spin or grip feel.
If you hit it so the ball really sinks in, you get plenty of speed too.
The sponge is on the softer side, so I was worried about the short game, but maybe because the topsheet is firm, it never flew off the table too much.
It puts out solid power whether you're driving or meet-hitting, and I think it's an easy rubber to use for any type of attacking player.
If you're staying with the same brand, it's also a good step up for beginner/intermediate players who've been using something like Factiv. All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

I put it on my backhand, and the stability on the backhand is amazing.
I originally had VO>103, a short-pips rubber, on my backhand, but even so I was able to drive, meet-hit, push, and block consistently.
I borrowed a friend's racket, but personally I find it much easier to handle than G-1.
Being an inverted rubber, the initial speed is slower than short pips, so I couldn't use it well at first, but I got used to it pretty quickly after hitting with it for a bit.
I can only speak about the backhand, but for players who want to switch from short pips or long pips to inverted rubber and don't know which one to pick, I think this rubber would let you get used to inverted rubber. All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

I used it on my forehand. Maybe because I'd been using Vega Tour before, it felt a little "poppy" at first.
Even someone like me who's just past beginner level found it easy to handle!
It's stable, and has decent speed and spin, so I think choosing this without overreaching is a good option. All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

It's a rubber with no quirks
There's no technique it struggles with — it handles everythingI think it's a rubber that works from beginner to advanced level
If you're not sure which rubber to pick, I'd recommend C1!All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

This rubber is, to put it mildly, godly.
First off, the stability is insane.
When I smash the ball, it lands exactly where I want it to.
So I can smash with confidence.
It might fall short of other rubbers in terms of raw power, but I think this rubber has more than enough charm to make up for it.
Also, it being light is a plus. All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft
