    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
VENTUS Extra receives high ratings as a versatile rubber for intermediate players, with excellent drive performance and easy spin application being key features. However, weight is a concern, and some users report shorter durability.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Stable drive with easy arc trajectory
    • Easy to apply spin, excellent against backspin
    • Good balance between speed and spin
    • Relatively heavy weight limits dual-sided application
    • Some reports of shorter lifespan than expected
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveSpin application is excellent, and the drive performance is valuable at this price point. Highly recommendable for beginners to intermediate players. Considering cost-performance, every element scores above 80 points with excellent completion.
▽ CriticalDurability was exhausted in just one month with 8 hours weekly practice. Lost spin performance after 2.5 months, with Rozena being a better choice. Drives require clean form to stay on table, and the linear trajectory requires adaptation.

      Masaki TSP's best performance

      Reviews by user

The arc is high, and it's easy to loop against backspin. If you want a rubber with a lower arc, I think Ventus Speed would be a good choice.

Uig (Experience: 11〜20 years) Feels like Sriver with glue applied

      Reviews by user

It feels just like Sriver with a few coats of booster on it!
There's no technique that's hard to pull off, and it's easy to use across the board. Compared to Fastarc G-1, the spin is a bit lower, but this one might actually be easier to put spin on.
Even on an off day, the ball still goes in somehow (lol)

Ventas (Experience: 6〜10 years) 05 is an unstable rubber for intermediates

      Reviews by user

      To sum it up simply:
      the stability is amazing.
But without swing speed, the ball comes out flat with no spin lol
      Blocking performance: ◎
      Countering: ◎ too
      Serves bite well
      More control than 05
The spin is admittedly a bit weaker, but for looping against backspin,
this might just be me, but I felt it wasn't really different
Since the control is good and it's cheap, it's a rubber suited to intermediate players who can't handle 05.

Just table tennis (Experience: 2〜3 years) Cohesive performance❗️

      Reviews by user

I was using Rakza 7 but switched because of a lack of power and stability (it's actually a really good rubber — I'm just not skilled enough for it). I think this one is an all-around rubber.
      · Push → both the stop and the heavy chop-push are good.
      · Drive → easy to loop against backspin.
      · Block → stops on its own.
If anything, depending on the ball, countering is totally fine too (if you let the ball sink in, it goes in on its own).
It's a well-balanced rubber, so if you have some room in your budget, give it a try!❗️
      Thanks for reading!❗️

Super Ventas (Experience: 2〜3 years) Definitely good

      Reviews by user

A friend of mine was using it, and it puts good spin on the ball! I don't think you'll easily lose in rallies with it.

      Kaname (Experience: 6〜10 years) Wonderful

      Reviews by user

I'd been curious about it for a while,
but I kept ending up reaching for other rubbers instead,
so I'd never actually used it.
I think there are quite a few people like that, actually.
I was the same way, but I finally bought it.

In a word: I wish I'd used it sooner.
It's a completely different animal from the rest of the Ventus lineup.
      The performance is really high.

Both speed and spin are good, and it's wonderfully easy to handle too.

      The hardness isn't rock-hard or brittle-feeling either —
it sinks in naturally in a nice way.

      The serves bite well too.
So yeah, it's all good things somehow.
If I had to pick something, it'd be the weight,
but when you weigh that against the performance,
the good points clearly win out.

Looking just at quality and price, it's honestly strange that this hasn't become a huge hit.
The package design, the Ventus brand, TSP's position in the market, the marketing — I guess that combination just didn't click with the market well.

      Such a waste.

Kinkan (Experience: 2〜3 years) Incredibly easy to use

      Reviews by user

I used this on the backhand.
It's incredibly easy to handle and puts plenty of spin on the ball. Blocking works fine once you get used to it.
It's worth trying at least once.
