An upgrade over the Xianglong.
Took some time to get used to how to put spin on the ball.
The short game is top notch.
Powerful topspin drives also get great speed - excellent.
Loops are naturally easy to do.
It's easy to create sharp contrasts in your shots, and in that sense I feel like it has a bit of a tacky-rubber vibe.Once you get used to it, it's the best.

I think this rubber suits the backhand side best. It's got consistency while still putting insane spin on the ball, so I'd recommend it.

First off, I see a lot of reviews saying this bounces quite a lot, but I don't think that's true at all.
In terms of pure bounce, Tenergy 05 or G1 bounce more.
That said, I think this "doesn't bounce much" quality is actually an advantage too.
For example, Dignics 05 is a great rubber, but for me it bounced too much and I kept overshooting - that hasn't happened since switching to the 09C.What really stands out is the spin and control performance.
It doesn't produce the nasty, unpredictable balls that Chinese rubbers do, but compared to other tension rubbers in general, it's a notch above on spin.Personally I usually think "control performance is about skill, not the rubber," but
the tackiness of the sheet is just right, giving it a distinct ball-holding feel, and blocks and stops are easy to hold back with.Compared to pure tacky rubbers like Hurricane Neo3, the 09C wins by a wide margin on speed and distance.
It has its quirks, but I think tension-rubber users can transition to this feel relatively easily.
I wouldn't recommend it if you want to blast through with one shot, but for someone who wins with small techniques on serve and receive, or by mixing up spin variations across a series of loop drives, I think the 09C is the best rubber out there.

It's semi-tacky, but the spin you get is insane. It doesn't fly much, so this is a good rubber for anyone who kept overshooting with Dignics 05. The downside is the price. Recommended for close-to-the-table, fast-attack players who use a lot of topspin drives.

When I bounced the ball on the rubber it seemed like it wouldn't bounce much, but when I actually hit it, it bounced a ton, and the spin is really strong too.
Loops and backspin attacks come up so easily you'd think there's no way you'd miss into the net, so watch out for overshooting instead. (Once you get used to it, pretty much any ball goes in.)
Serves spin like crazy.
Even speed drives get an insane amount of spin, and chiquita is effortless. It's pricey, but it's really easy to use and feels like it could dominate in an actual match.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Hard

This is a review from a chopper's perspective. I'll skip the attacking side since offensive players can probably give a more detailed review on that.
To put it in terms a chopper would understand, it felt like the touchiness of VS401 was smoothed out, with a dramatic jump in bounce.
For chopping, despite the semi-tacky sheet and hard sponge, the ball-holding feel is good, so on top of the spin performance, it's also easy to keep under control and hold back. It was easier than my usual Tenergy 05. Pushes felt similar too.
That said, no matter how good the ball-holding feel is, it's still a hard rubber. So I think it would be tough to use effectively in an actual match unless you're a chopper of a certain skill level. If your footwork can't keep up and you end up just blocking the ball flatly, you'll produce nothing but dead, spinless balls.
But if you're a chopper of a decent level, you should be able to handle both chopping and attacking, in which case I think it really does live up to the hype as a rubber that overcomes that contradiction. Personally it worked really well with my outer-carbon Koji Matsushita Special blade.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

Here are my impressions after hitting with it
Hope this helps even a little!
First off, control is a bit tricky
If you don't swing too hard and just drive normally, it lands nicely
I was using an inner-carbon blade so control was a bit hard for me
but once you get used to it, you can hit some amazing balls
At first I'd recommend focusing on keeping your topspin drives consistent
