The Timo Boll ALC is the blade of choice for the European Triple Champion, Timo Boll. Timo working with Butterfly’s technicians, helped design his new blade which offers a touch more speed than his previous model but still allows for the production of the heavy topspin strokes Timo is known for.
Using his new blade along with Butterfly’s new Tenergy rubbers, Timo successfully defended all three of his Titles at the 2008 European Championships. Timo plays fair and wins and so can you. The Timo Boll ALC offers the maximum blend of speed, heavy spin, and Control.

First, drives are flawless
there's speed and spin
and the third-ball drive is easy to hit.
For serves, things like the YG serve are easy to hit, and receiving is easy too, but the chiquita is especially easy to pull off.
If a ZLC-type blade doesn't suit you, try this one first

First off, you can really put spin on both drives and serves.
Also, receives, control, and blocks are all decent too.

You can put solid spin on both serves and drives.
The speed is decent too.
Control isn't bad either.
The feel is a bit hard.

I think it's an all-around blade. Its strongest point is probably offense. Topspin drives and smashes are quite easy to pull off, and smashes have real destructive power. You can also step back from the table and chop. Loop drives go in too. You can do all kinds of serves with it.

This blade makes it easy to play offense. Topspin drives especially go in easily when playing close to the table to mid-distance. The weight is just right — not too light, not too heavy. It feels natural in the hand and is easy to swing. It's also easy to vary the strength between long and short serves, and easy to put spin on them. Offensive players should give this one a try.

There are a lot of arylate carbon blades out there. Among them, this one was the easiest to use. It's not heavy, and shots basically go in no matter where you hit from. I think it pairs well with spin-oriented rubbers. Any kind of serve is easy to do with it. Recommended.

This was my first blade with arylate carbon in it, and it was really great.
Topspin drives went in smoothly and it felt easy to use.
