The Timo Boll ALC is the blade of choice for the European Triple Champion, Timo Boll. Timo working with Butterfly’s technicians, helped design his new blade which offers a touch more speed than his previous model but still allows for the production of the heavy topspin strokes Timo is known for.
Using his new blade along with Butterfly’s new Tenergy rubbers, Timo successfully defended all three of his Titles at the 2008 European Championships. Timo plays fair and wins and so can you. The Timo Boll ALC offers the maximum blend of speed, heavy spin, and Control.

I heard Timo Boll uses this so I bought one.
My first impression was that the speed is amazing.
It also puts a decent amount of spin on the ball,
and the grip on the ball made it feel like a blade you'd never guess has carbon in it.
It's an amazing blade!

I borrowed it from a friend and tried it out, and my first impression was that the speed is amazing.
Because it has arylate carbon in it, speed drives, spin drives, smashes — the speed is really fast.
The feel was really great too!

I've used all kinds of blades so far, but this one is the easiest to use, I think.
That's because it's fast yet still has good grip on the ball and stays stable.
Since switching to the plastic ball, speed and spin have dropped and the ball leaves the racket faster, so personally I feel ZLC-type blades have gotten harder to use.
If you want to hit powerful shots but also want stability, I really want you to try this blade.
Also, I personally like a thinner grip, so among ALC blades I'd recommend this to anyone who wants a thinner grip.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft

Switching over from the Acoustic.
Everything is different, from the speed to the feel, but I bought it because I was drawn to the square straight grip.
It pairs really well with Tenergy 05.

It has a good reputation so I tried it, but it didn't suit me. It feels like the ball ends up drawing an unnecessarily big arc. Pushes and playing away from the table felt hard to do. Personally I think the Timo Boll ZLC is better.

30 man (Experience: １１〜２０ years) Easy to use among special-material blades

I used this for a long time, going back to the celluloid ball era. For a special-materials blade, the feel is soft, and I was able to get control quickly with practice. In my case, thicker blades tend to reduce the sense of grip on the ball, which I'm not great with, but since this one is thin, I got a good grip on the ball and found it easy to put spin on.
Also, hitting hard brings out the carbon's characteristics well, making it easy to generate speed.
I kept using it after the switch to the plastic ball too, but personally I started to feel a bit more hardness on impact. Still, I think it's just as easy to use for players with a lot of power.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

You can really send the ball flying.
It also has solid spin, so it's perfect for anyone who wants a carbon blade with a bit more speed. That said, since it's a fast carbon blade, it takes a little time to get used to.
