First off, if you're at a prefectural-tournament ranking level, looping with a tacky rubber is fine, but once you get to the national level, that same looping style will get targeted and you'll get countered over and over. Honestly, when I face a Hurricane user who loops everything, I actually think "lucky me" because I can counter it so easily. In other words, you can't win with a tacky rubber using loops alone. Without serious power it's impossible to handle well — hitting to one spot is fine, but most middle schoolers will end up netting or missing the ball constantly once it becomes an all-court rally. If that's the case, you're far better off using a rubber that actually matches your own level.

Switched over from Turbo Blue!
I've used various Hurricane rubbers,
and this one feels quite soft to the touch.
Drive: jumps off on its own with light force
Push: feels pretty easy to do
Smash: too soft, hard to hit
Flick: easy to flick
Block: fairly stable
Counter: easy, since the ball comes up nicely
Serve: you can put your own spin on itWhen you actually hit it, the hardness doesn't feel that soft. Compared to other Hurricanes it has more bounce, but it also feels a bit harder to put spin on than the others.

Borrowed a friend's!
I thought Chinese rubber would be harder, so this actually felt soft to me!
The Chinese-sponge version is harder,
and since it's heavy and hard, you need power to sink the ball in, but with the Japanese-sponge version,
even a light drive gets speed and spin, so I thought it was an easy rubber to use!
That said, it's hard to handle without a solid, proper impact, so I'd like intermediate players who already understand the hitting technique to try it!All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

When feeding balls for multiball practice, it's easy to control and easy to put backspin on, so it's really handy for that. If you put on a TSP tacky-protection film, the tackiness transfers to the film and the rubber lasts longer, so I've kept using the same sheet. I've had it for about 3 years now, and the grip hasn't degraded at all. That said, the one I bought was defective — for the first three months there was no tackiness at all and there was a white film on it. I'd like them to sort that kind of thing out properly.

I'm using the Chinese-made version, not the Nittaku one, on my forehand. Not just serves and receives — loop drives get a ton of spin on them too. It's tacky rubber, so people say it doesn't have much bounce, but I've had no problem using it. Countering is also easy, though blocking felt a bit hard since it's easily affected by the opponent's spin. I think it's pretty easy to use even for someone new to tacky rubbers.

When I first started using it I was hitting more of a loop drive, but watching Chinese players, they clearly hit it with a sharp "bang" impact, so I looked things up online and experimented on my own, and after about a month and a half of use I finally learned the right way to hit it. Hitting it that way, I get both speed and spin, and my friends tell me the ball feels really heavy — I'm satisfied. The short game is perfect now. Stops don't pop up, and pushes bite in well. Perfect. Blocking wasn't as hard as people say either — actually it stops the ball nicely, which was great. Countering is beyond complaint too — it's super easy to do and has real power. Would I recommend it? Not really, but if you're the type who's going to stick with and really master this rubber long-term, I think it's a good choice.

This is a rubber that top-ranked Chinese players often use. The arc is high and stable, and the spin is absolutely insane, so it's scary. But since it lacks speed, I think only players with real power can handle it.
