I have this on the forehand side of a Kokutaku Precious Rotary. Hitting flat, driving, and blocking are all stable with it. And on top of that, it still gets spin. Rather than fitting the usual image of a Hurricane, it feels more like taking the light tackiness of something like Tackifire, mixing it with the high rebound and tension-like bounce of something like Roundell or Sriver, splitting the difference, and keeping only the good parts of Hurricane's performance. Personally, if you want to buy a tacky rubber cheap right now, I think this is the best choice.

This is a follow-up review - this time I'm writing about the different types of Hurricane Neo3.
For the average user, the regular version has plenty of spec, so take this just as reference...- Hurricane Neo3
This is the base rubber - the general-release model available as a Nittaku product and overseas.- Neo Provincial Hurricane 3, Orange Sponge
The provincial team (national-use) version.
Top players who don't use the blue sponge basically use this one.
A regular Hurricane Neo3 is 39-41 degrees, but the Provincial Hurricane also comes in 37 degrees.
Ma Long is said to use this 37-degree hardness on his backhand.

Among pro players, the Hurricane blue sponge is especially favored by Chinese players like Fan Zhendong, Ma Long, and Zhu Yuling.

When I read reviews like this, I often see people using a tacky rubber say things like "it draws a huge arc!!" - but honestly, that's just proof they can't use the tacky rubber properly.
Just to be clear:
once you can actually use a tacky rubber well, it produces a low trajectory with strong spin.
Because the rubber is hard, it has high rebound, and it's the sheet's tackiness that lets it add all that spin on top of that.
People who get a high arcing trajectory are just swinging too slowly and letting the tacky sheet hold onto the ball, without enough rebound - that's all that's happening.
In other words, they're not actually bringing out the rubber's true performance, so it's kind of ridiculous when they go around saying "the spin is amazing" or "it doesn't bounce."
Okay, that's the premise out of the way.
This rubber is genuinely strong if you can actually use it.
But it is absolutely, positively not a rubber for your average player.
It's not something a middle schooler can use just because they idolize Chinese players - get real.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

First, note that this rubber's base coating won't fully soak in until about 4 days after you buy it.
Now, once the base coating has soaked in, my first impression is that it's on the softer, bouncier side for a tacky rubber.
That said, "softer" is relative - it's still hard, so it's a bit tricky.
The tackiness is only light.
When I tried hitting a drive right away, I got that quirky ball unique to tacky rubbers. With a weak impact, you get a ball that's kind of vague in both spin and speed, but when you hit it with a solid impact, an incredible ball comes out!
As for how I hit it, I go for a direct hit that lets the ball sink in, but if you brush it, you get a low, dipping loop drive.
For now, I'd recommend trying an easier-to-use tacky-tension rubber first, like Huilong, Xianglong, or Shuixing Blue Sponge.
Well, more than anything, you won't be able to use this unless you build up the strength to hit it properly on your own...All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

You can put on more than enough spin to make up for the lack of bounce.
Even beginner-to-intermediate players can easily produce nasty spin serves and pushes, so it's fun, but
watch out because it's also easy to get thrown off by your opponent's spin.
If you hit the drive the same way you would with a tension rubber, it'll bury itself in the net, so you need to adjust your swing.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

This time I used the Hurricane 3 blue sponge. My impression is that it bounces quite a bit. Even so, it still has solid tackiness, which left a pretty good impression on me.
The one drawback though is definitely the weight. It's on the heavier side even for a tacky rubber, so a lighter blade works well with it. I'd like to put it on an Infinity.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft
