    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
Praised for exceptional spin and control performance, though limited rebound poses challenges when transitioning from tension rubbers. Recognized as a versatile rubber suitable for beginners to advanced players, particularly excelling in close-range techniques and looping drives.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Outstanding spin performance enabling easy lower-ball attacks and loop drives
    • Excellent stability in close-range techniques (stop, push strokes)
    • Strong adhesion provides excellent ball grip and precise control
    • Requires adjustment in stroke technique compared to tension rubbers
    • Pairing with elastic rackets recommended due to low rebound characteristics
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveNearly perfect performance. Serves spin sharply and short, while push strokes offer exceptional stability and sharpness. Counter-attacks and lower-ball drives deliver powerful shots, with the stickiness neutralizing opponent's spin.
▽ CriticalBalls go into the net when using tension-rubber techniques due to lack of rebound. Beginners find it difficult and extracting the rubber's true potential is challenging. It does not tolerate lazy or careless strokes, constantly demanding solid, committed shots.

Moss (Experience: 2〜3 years) Tacky rubber with tension-level power

      Reviews by user

My first impression was "this is insane."
Compared to other rubbers in the Hurricane line, it bounces a ton. And since it's got that sticky feel, the spin is still all there.
The extension is crazy. In topspin rallies, my opponent's balls started going long a lot more.
The serve spin is on another level. In the short game, even flicks have power, and stops and pushes bite hard - it's insane.
The combination with an ALC blade might be the best there is.
If you're going with a Hurricane, I think this is the one.

    • I love adhesion

I love adhesion (Experience: 2〜3 years)

      Reviews by user

This time I used the regular, off-the-shelf sponge.
The sponge isn't very hard and gives you the kind of spin you'd expect from a traditional Hurricane.
The speed isn't all that fast, but with techniques like flicking you can use it without it feeling off.
It lasts a long time - I think the tackiness holds up for around 4 months.
If you want speed out of a tacky rubber, I'd recommend the Hurricane Pro 3 Turbo Orange or the Golden Tango.
I'd place this rubber at around Hammond speed or below, but able to put a ton of spin on the ball.

Manaboot (Experience: 11〜20 years) Best match with Carbonade 45

      Reviews by user

This combo, which is a hot topic among fans of the Chinese women's setup in the table tennis community, was amazing. The spin is so strong that matches can end just from the opponent missing a receive. With a Carbonado 45, you get speed while keeping the short game stable, and the spin becomes top class - it's unbeatable. I've never had a combo that generates this much spin. People told me my push was insanely nasty.
The catch is that it's hard to control when you hit with medium power. That's different from tension rubbers.

BlazeFever (Experience: 4〜5 years) Don't use this unless you trained the Chinese way

      Reviews by user

If you haven't trained under the Chinese style, don't use this rubber. Even if you try pushing the ball into your body with your elbow, you basically won't be able to use this rubber properly.

Since I've been well trained in the Chinese style, I can say this rubber's spin is the best out there (yes, better than Tenergy), and the control is great too - but that's the catch. If you play a European style or something else, just use Tenergy 05/64 - that's the best on the market right now.

Table tennis person (Experience: 4〜5 years) Monster

      Reviews by user

I used this on a blade called the Ebony, sold by WRM. This isn't a rubber where you just graze the ball for spin - you really have to brush it to get the spin going. The Ebony has a hard blade material but has two carbon layers built in. Thanks to that, the flight is decent too. It's easy to use with any technique, and it's easy to run your opponent around and win. The spin is so strong that it left a real impression on me how the opponent's blocks kept going astray. Definitely give it a try!

    • Do not do it

Do not do it (Experience: 4〜5 years) Super sticky

      Reviews by user

This is quite a tacky rubber.
Instead of a drive where you sink the ball in like with Tenergy, you have to use a "brushing" drive that relies on the rubber's friction.
So if your swing speed is slow, the rubber will get the better of you.
Serves and receives are very easy to do and have great bite.

Zhang Zike forever (Experience: 6〜10 years) (゚∀゚ 三 ゚∀゚) Here it is - the national team edition Hurricane Neo3 Blue Sponge

      Reviews by user

This boasts the highest quality in the whole Hurricane lineup. This time it's the National Team version of the Hurricane, which is probably barely available anywhere in the world.

Compared to the provincial-team Hurricanes I've used before, the sheet's beauty really stands out. Also, since this one was glued using Dianchi bonding glue, the bounce increased, and I was able to hit drives that combine the kind of blistering speed and tremendous spin you see from Chinese players.
Also, the base coating is applied thick and soaks in quickly, which makes it feel easier to use overall. Converting to Butterfly's hardness scale, the sponge softens to around 36-38 degrees, and the grip on the ball is even better. This is the best rubber I've ever used. Spin, speed, and durability are all top class.
A National Team Hurricane that's worth trying at least once.
