I'm a chopper, and this makes third-ball attacks really easy. It also makes the kind of "counter-attacking" that modern choppers need a lot easier. This rubber grips the ball so well that drives go in even with an almost flat, parallel swing. So even low stops still land reliably.
On chopping stability
I could chop speed drives just fine, but since the rubber gets affected by spin so much, handling loop drives is difficult.

It feels like this adds the speed that was missing from the previous Hurricane series. The spin level stays the same as before, but now you get extra speed on top of it! Drives are really easy to hit, and you get this heavy drive that seems to skid across the table! I want every tacky rubber user to try this at least once!

Easy to put spin on and easy to chop with, but drives don't carry far enough, so it's not suited for drive-dominant players.

- This was my first tacky rubber on the forehand, and if you swing like you would with a tension rubber, the ball just doesn't go in...!! It worked well once I hit with more of a pushing-through feel (?).
- The spin is great on every technique. Especially the low backspin serve, it just bites like crazy! It comes back at you scary fast...!
- Speed felt maybe a little on the slow side? The arc on drives is really high, and personally that's exactly the kind of arc I love!
- I tried it on the backhand too. When you snap it, it's really fast, and my chiquita curved a ton!
- This is my go-to rubber now.

This is my first tacky rubber so I can't really compare it to others,
but when hitting forehand drives, the ball feels like it sticks to the rubber
and doesn't bounce much.
Drives get plenty of spin
and are easy to control.
If you want speed, you can definitely get enough of it.
Personally, I feel like it gets easier to use once the tackiness wears off a bit.
I like harder rubbers so I decided to try this one,
but if you're thinking of switching over from a tension rubber,

Huh? It's lighter than I expected.
It's a bit lighter than the previous Hurricane.
The drive is seriously on another level.
I think drives where you really sink the ball into the sponge work best with this.
