I tried it with a Matsudaira Kenta blade... it made a snappy "clack clack" sound and when I first used it I was like "is this really a tacky rubber!?" - it had that much speed. Above all, the topspin drive extends deep into the opponent's court and you can hit nasty angles, and the curve drive felt like it broke more than with Tenergy... Serves are easy to cut sideways, and when I threw out a YG serve, people just couldn't return it lol. Blocking is also super stable, and the counters are beyond words lol lol. The ball goes to the opponent's court with insane speed. The short game is flawless!! lol Chiquita and flicks land again and again lol lol. The short game is amazing.
The weakness is probably the weight... when I paired it with Rozena the total weight was 190g... I usually pair Tenergy 80 with Rozena and that's around 170-175g, so this felt really heavy. The other thing is receiving - it's easy to pick up the opponent's spin, so that takes some getting used to. Sorry for the long post.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Hard

Neo Hurricane 3 Blue Sponge
(National Team NEO Hurricane)!
It has the most base-glue coating of any Hurricane.
First, forehand hitting. It bounces way more than you'd expect from a Hurricane. When you put topspin on it, it draws a nice arc and lands on the table! After the bounce, it keeps extending and then dips down. The spin is higher than the provincial type. Comparing blue sponge to orange sponge, the blue sponge grips the ball more and flies further. Even hitting from far back, it just keeps extending and extending. It lands on the table consistently and stable.
On the backhand, the orange sponge is very easy to handle. Even though it's tacky, it flies even on soft hits, so you can hit without stress. Both serves and receives bite really well. And the chiquita is just nasty. This rubber was seriously amazing.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

This time I'm reviewing the Hurricane Neo3 Blue Sponge (Provincial team version).
Since it's a blue sponge, it's a fairly hard item to get hold of.
First, the speed - it's faster than you'd expect from a Hurricane. Especially when you hit the sweet spot of the blade, the speed rivals Tenergy. The ball you send out really sinks into the opponent's court, so you can produce shots that are tough to receive.
As for spin, the rubbing stroke unique to tacky rubbers gives it top-tier spin. I'd say its spin ceiling actually surpasses Tenergy.
On the other hand, control is a bit of a challenge. Of course, when you hit it cleanly you can produce shots like a Chinese player, but if your timing is off you end up with nothing but flat, spinless balls. It's very easy to fall victim to a counter, so you need to keep your swing speed fast at all times.
Overall, this is one or two levels above the regular retail Hurricane in quality. Also, as a tacky rubber it has fairly strong tension, so switching over from a tension rubber felt relatively smooth. Definitely worth trying out.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

Compared to the previous normal Hurricane, this one's easier to handle and bounces a lot more. That said, I felt the spin dropped off a little.

Unlike a tacky-tension hybrid rubber, this doesn't have that feeling of the ball flying off on its own, so control is on the better side.
That said, unless you're a real power hitter, I don't think you can hit fast balls with it — you'll mostly end up with slow, wobbly ones.
If you're not confident in your power, I think a tacky-tension hybrid would suit you better.
That said, the rubber itself is light for a max-thickness rubber, so it's easy to keep your swing speed up.

The spin is insane.
I was worried about the speed, but it wasn't as slow as I was concerned it'd be.
You can hit smashes just fine too.
That said, this is really better suited to players who attack mainly with spin-based technique.

This won't suit anyone using a soft rubber. If you're coming from a hard tension rubber, you can handle it without much trouble. It feels like it only flies as far as you put power into it, and the way a drive shoots up and then drops sharply is fun.
Chops, loops, counters — all of them can produce high-quality balls once you get used to it.
Also, since it's actually low-bounce and hard, receiving is easier, and it's strong in the short game too.
That said, you can't always hit in a match exactly like you do in practice, so it's possible your shots won't be as consistent come match time...All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard
