TENERGY 05 has a unique feeling using a combination of Spring Sponge technology, High Tension rubber and a tacky surface. It is excellent for imparting a great deal of spin on the ball. 05 in the name was adopted from Pimples Code No. 5. Tenergy 05 enables a full range of topspin play at or away from the table. It keeps its explosive power throughout the life of the rubber without the use of speed glue or boosting. Tenergy 05 is very popular among world-class table tennis players. European Champion Timo Boll uses Tenergy 05 on forehand and backhand.

Above all, this is a rubber where the ball really sinks into the sponge and grips well!
Techniques like serves and drives are easy to pull off, and when you hit hard, it produces incredible speed.
For a tension rubber to combine spin and speed this well is really impressive, I think!It costs a bit, but I've decided it's worth the price.

The first thing I thought when I tried it was, "the combination of spin and speed is insane."
Tenergy's strength is combining spin and speed.
Its weakness is that since spin comes on automatically, control gets harder.All Speed Spin Control

I use it on my forehand.
I've been using it for about three months now.
The speed has dropped a little.

The combination of speed and spin is wonderful.
Compared to the rubbers I've used before, I think this one is really easy to use thanks to how well it combines speed and spin.
The control isn't that great, but I think it gets easier to use once you're used to it.
I used it on both forehand and backhand.
On the forehand side, the spin on drives is amazing, the drive itself is amazing.

Viscaria Easy to use on the backhand

My actual blade is a Viscaria, and the one mentioned above is my backup. My impression is that it feels easy to lift the ball with. I haven't used it on the forehand so I can't say much there, but on the backhand, it lets me return knuckle balls and backspin balls from my opponent solidly. I thought it would bounce a lot more, but pushes, close-to-the-table play, chiquita, and so on are all relatively easy to do, so it's manageable. Also, it was easy to control the strength of my shots and to maneuver. That said, on smashes, if you don't pay attention to the angle it's hard to get the ball in. Other than that, I don't think there's anything particularly hard to use about it.
