TENERGY 05 has a unique feeling using a combination of Spring Sponge technology, High Tension rubber and a tacky surface. It is excellent for imparting a great deal of spin on the ball. 05 in the name was adopted from Pimples Code No. 5. Tenergy 05 enables a full range of topspin play at or away from the table. It keeps its explosive power throughout the life of the rubber without the use of speed glue or boosting. Tenergy 05 is very popular among world-class table tennis players. European Champion Timo Boll uses Tenergy 05 on forehand and backhand.

Even if you hit it flat, even if your swing is slow, spin gets put on the ball automatically. And it picks up speed too.
It's a ridiculous rubber. It's worth the high price.
Young players should absolutely not use it, though. If you want more spin or speed, you're supposed to train your own body for it, but Tenergy just does it for you.
By the way, I think it's fair to say it's the easiest rubber to generate spin with, but I don't think it's the rubber with the most spin overall - it's on the soft side, after all.The price went up too, so honestly this is a rubber for people whose livelihood depends on table tennis (lol)

When people talk about Tenergy, spin is the first thing that comes up, and while the 05 is spin-focused, it's also quite fast, which makes it tricky to handle.
It has that distinctive grip on the ball, so spin is easy to generate, but control is difficult.
It's also on the heavier side, so you should factor in the weight of the blade you're pairing it with.All Speed Spin Control

The amount of spin is really on a whole different level.
You can rack up points with serves and pushes, and with topspin drives you can blow right through your opponent's blocks.
Once you use it, you can't go back to anything else.

I use this on the forehand side of a Chinese penhold blade.
It's just so easy to put spin on, and the consistency that comes from that is outstanding.
That said, I think it's hard to use well unless you can swing through properly.
Also, for topspin drives, I'd say don't bother with this unless you already have the feel for sinking the ball into the sponge and brushing it.
I'd really recommend it to people who are used to the feel of rubbers like Sriver.All Speed Spin Control

I think this has the most spin in the whole Tenergy series.
Of course on serves, but topspin drives get great spin too.
Honestly, just touching the ball puts spin on it. So it's really easy to use.
The downside is that spin comes on automatically, which
makes it hard to control.
For now, I'd recommend pairing it with a carbon blade -
something like the Timo Boll series or the Jun Mizutani series.
It's for intermediate to advanced players. Also a bit pricey...All Speed Spin Control

The amount of spin is overwhelming.
Even just a light touch puts a good amount of spin on the ball, so when your opponent is using Tenergy, you can't relax even during a normal rally.
It can induce mistakes from your opponent on serves too - it's an amazing rubber.
The downsides are the high price and the short lifespan (the edges start crumbling and flaking off).All Speed Spin Control

The number one thing is the insane amount of spin. It feels great when you drive through and let the ball sink into the sponge, and it also puts on plenty of spin when you brush it. Compared to Rasant, the sponge is softer, so you can attack even from away from the table, but it's weak against incoming spin, and countering or blocking with it is about as hard as it gets.
But once you get used to it, it's the best!All Speed Spin Control
