TENERGY 05 has a unique feeling using a combination of Spring Sponge technology, High Tension rubber and a tacky surface. It is excellent for imparting a great deal of spin on the ball. 05 in the name was adopted from Pimples Code No. 5. Tenergy 05 enables a full range of topspin play at or away from the table. It keeps its explosive power throughout the life of the rubber without the use of speed glue or boosting. Tenergy 05 is very popular among world-class table tennis players. European Champion Timo Boll uses Tenergy 05 on forehand and backhand.

Thanks to the high-quality sheet and spring sponge, it's easy to generate spin, and the spin you get is strong too

The spin basically goes without saying. It's really strong. But it's hard to generate. And control is difficult, it's easily affected by incoming spin, you overshoot, and it's expensive... there are quite a few downsides. But that spin is the real appeal. If you've got some money to spare, definitely give it a try.

Speed... a bit slower compared to the 64. In my case, when I back away from the table, I have to use my whole body to lift the ball or it just won't carry...
Spin... a light touch already gives you a lot of spin. Brush it hard and it's ridiculous, lol.
Control... honestly I'm just not skilled enough, so control isn't really something I can judge...For power hitters (people who believe in power drives), the sponge being soft, and it being a spring sponge - this is a rubber where you can really feel that. It's easy to sink the ball into the sponge.
It draws a big arc - I could really feel the trajectory forming exactly that kind of arc.Once this one wears smooth, I'm thinking of switching to medium thickness next time. (Currently using max thickness)

First off, one word: it's insanely high-performance. People online often say "just touch the ball and it goes in," and I really do think that's about right. You can hit powerful topspin drives, and you can also chop with really heavy spin on the ball. I especially found the finer backhand techniques very easy to pull off. It's no surprise that Fan Zhendong, currently ranked world number one, uses it. It comes with a price tag to match, but it's a rubber worth every bit of it, so I highly recommend it.

It's the king of rubbers.
I think it's quite difficult to master unless you're an advanced player.If you've reached a level where you can play without worrying about receives or the effects of spin, I think you can bring out tremendous power in your game.
Personally, though, I prefer the 64.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

A friend from my club uses it, so he lent it to me. I'd previously tried Rozena and gotten really into it, so I've been using that, but I was curious about Tenergy too, so this time I got to try it out. Right off the bat, the best thing about Tenergy 05 is its "spin." This is something I felt during topspin rallies - the spin is incredible. It's hard to describe, but the ball draws an arc and lands safely on the table. When topspin is put on the ball, the trajectory draws an arc, which makes it easier for the ball to land consistently on the table, but what's amazing about Tenergy 05 is that even with an ordinary forehand drive, the ball gets topspin on it and flies with an arc just like a proper topspin drive. And the speed is incredible too. Tenergy 05 is a spin-focused rubber, so while its spin amount is top-class, it can also generate quite a lot of ball speed, so I think it's a rubber with top-class performance in both speed and spin. Control feels about average. The sheet grips the ball well too, so you can pull off all kinds of shots. That said, it bounces more than Rozena, so it takes some getting used to.

It does generate more spin than other rubbers, but not as much as everyone makes it out to be. It feels like Vega's performance bumped up just a little.
I think it really becomes the strongest rubber once your own skill catches up to it. If your skill isn't there yet, you can't make full use of it. Just as the title says.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard
