TENERGY 05 has a unique feeling using a combination of Spring Sponge technology, High Tension rubber and a tacky surface. It is excellent for imparting a great deal of spin on the ball. 05 in the name was adopted from Pimples Code No. 5. Tenergy 05 enables a full range of topspin play at or away from the table. It keeps its explosive power throughout the life of the rubber without the use of speed glue or boosting. Tenergy 05 is very popular among world-class table tennis players. European Champion Timo Boll uses Tenergy 05 on forehand and backhand.

If you can make solid, clean contact, I think this is a really great rubber.
I personally can't quite do that, so this rating is based on the rubber's performance itself.As for ease of use, it's top class, but if you can draw out its full potential, I think it's the best in the world right now.

Serve: Not quite as sharp as the Hard version, but still has good bite, and long serves are fast too.
Receive: A bit more susceptible to the opponent's spin, but nothing you can't handle.
Block: The ball pops up nicely, so it's stable.
Topspin drive: Goes without saying—spin, arc, depth, speed, first-class in every category.
Counter: This also pops up nicely, so swinging forward gives you a sharp, stable counter.
Overall, it's simply a fantastic rubber.

I got a rubber that had already been used for two weeks from someone. The amount of spin is beyond reproach. It has speed too, though maybe not the absolute best out there. The bounce is also really good. But best of all is the feel when you hit the ball—that sensation of the ball being grabbed for an instant before being flung out. I bet a lot of people have fallen in love with that feeling. I get why it's a rubber almost every table tennis player tries at some point. The 05 really is the untouchable god-tier rubber.

This is a first-class rubber, no complaints at all. When I used it on my forehand, I thought it was amazing—great spin and the ball really carries through. When I used it on my backhand, though, it felt too soft for me and I couldn't get that same carry on my shots.

With the development code 05 and a spring sponge hardness of 36, it's very easy to use and generates a lot of spin, which is great. ...Also, since I'm not great at backhand drives and struggle to get spin, I use it on my backhand. In summary, it's a rubber that really grips the ball for spin.

The power of a single shot is great, of course, but spin kicks in automatically on every technique, giving your whole game incredible stability‼️ That said, since the spin comes on its own, unless the opponent puts in some serious spin themselves, they can get used to your shots pretty easily, and it's hard to hit from a good position every single time in a match, so this is completely for advanced players❗️

I was really impressed by how easy it is to attack a push with this rubber.
I used to use Hurricane Neo3, but the spin, speed, and control are on a completely different level.
Hurricane was also a great rubber, but this one blows way past it.
It's honestly a scary good rubber.
It's a bit pricey, but I don't think you can go wrong with it.
