TENERGY 05 has a unique feeling using a combination of Spring Sponge technology, High Tension rubber and a tacky surface. It is excellent for imparting a great deal of spin on the ball. 05 in the name was adopted from Pimples Code No. 5. Tenergy 05 enables a full range of topspin play at or away from the table. It keeps its explosive power throughout the life of the rubber without the use of speed glue or boosting. Tenergy 05 is very popular among world-class table tennis players. European Champion Timo Boll uses Tenergy 05 on forehand and backhand.

I used it in the fore. Anyway the rotation is terrible. I feel that the drive for the upper rotation pierces the other's coat than the other rubber and the loop drive against the downward rotation is tremendously spinning, so when you are low you feel that the opponent does not want to return. Taiko play was easier to do because it was softer than I thought!
Service will also take enough rotation! It is satisfactory anyhow! !

The tenacity series is easiest to rotate. The first thing I put on the table was Tennessee 80, but after all it is easier to rotate 05 enormously compared to 80. I was surprised by the amount of rotation when doing a loop drive. I think that it is for people who are good at drive.
