TENERGY 05 has a unique feeling using a combination of Spring Sponge technology, High Tension rubber and a tacky surface. It is excellent for imparting a great deal of spin on the ball. 05 in the name was adopted from Pimples Code No. 5. Tenergy 05 enables a full range of topspin play at or away from the table. It keeps its explosive power throughout the life of the rubber without the use of speed glue or boosting. Tenergy 05 is very popular among world-class table tennis players. European Champion Timo Boll uses Tenergy 05 on forehand and backhand.

I used this on my forehand. The spin is honestly incredible. Compared to other rubbers, topspin drives against incoming topspin feel like they really stab into the opponent's side of the table, and loop drives against backspin get an insane amount of spin, so when the ball lands low I think it's hard for the opponent to return. The short game was softer and easier than I expected, so it was easy to play!
The serves get plenty of spin too! Overall I'm very satisfied!!

Feeling a bit reckless, I put on Tenergy even after the price hike.
Even in max thickness it's only around 46g, which is lighter than the popular German tension rubbers these days.
Even with a light swing, the spin kicks in automatically, so it's harder to give your opponent an easy chance ball.
It's also strong against backspin—not only does it easily overcome the opponent's spin, it really grips the ball and sends it off in a nice arc.It's worth the price, but I felt like I needed to work on my technique more than worry about the rubber, so in the end I'm back to using a cheaper rubber now.

I use this in max thickness on my backhand.
It makes topspin drives and other spin-based techniques really easy to pull off, and it's ideal for a spin-focused playing style.

It really puts a lot of spin on the ball. If you make solid contact, you can hit a stable topspin drive, and even a light graze still generates spin. If your opponent is skilled, I think Tenergy's shots are actually easier for them to read and return. That said, it's a rubber that lets you keep attacking on your own terms, so I'd recommend it to people who are good at rallying.

It's a good rubber.
I also tried it with an Acoustic Carbon Inner (C), but
it pairs better with an Innerforce Layer blade.If you don't have that feel for gripping the ball, it's really just a rubber for advanced players.

This is the easiest rubber in the Tenergy lineup to generate spin with. The first one I used was Tenergy 80, but compared to that, the 05 makes it incredibly easy to put spin on the ball. When I hit a loop drive, I was amazed by how much spin it produced. I think this is a rubber for people who are good at topspin drives.

This rubber is truly amazing.
The topspin drive really bites and the speed is incredible.
In topspin rallies I don't feel like I can lose, and the serves have crazy spin too.
Still, if I could ask for one more thing, it'd be more consistency in the short game...All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard
