TENERGY 05 has a unique feeling using a combination of Spring Sponge technology, High Tension rubber and a tacky surface. It is excellent for imparting a great deal of spin on the ball. 05 in the name was adopted from Pimples Code No. 5. Tenergy 05 enables a full range of topspin play at or away from the table. It keeps its explosive power throughout the life of the rubber without the use of speed glue or boosting. Tenergy 05 is very popular among world-class table tennis players. European Champion Timo Boll uses Tenergy 05 on forehand and backhand.

In a word, just like the title says, it's a crazy rubber lol
It's fast, the spin is insane, it's easy to control, and on top of that it stays stable from anywhere on the table.
It's pricey, but the performance is worth more than the price.
By the way, if you really rip a curve drive, the spin is so strong it can curve from the center line right off the table into the corner of your opponent's backhand side lolAll Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft

Even when my form is a bit off on a drive, the ball still goes in!! Amazing consistency!!

I've kept using it ever since I first reviewed it, and I never get tired of it. It spins more than any other rubber, and it has decent power too, so it's easy to use.

I switched to this when I started high school. I'd never used a spin rubber before, but I don't think the spin is much different from a tacky rubber.

Shunsuke Gets easier to use as you get used to it.

Like most rubbers, it's hard to get spin on at first, but after a while it starts biting. The downsides are the short lifespan and the high price. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for speed and spin.

Rasant is trendy right now, but if you want a soft-sponge spin rubber, it's Tenergy 05. Even among spin rubbers, it's top of the top.
