TENERGY 05 has a unique feeling using a combination of Spring Sponge technology, High Tension rubber and a tacky surface. It is excellent for imparting a great deal of spin on the ball. 05 in the name was adopted from Pimples Code No. 5. Tenergy 05 enables a full range of topspin play at or away from the table. It keeps its explosive power throughout the life of the rubber without the use of speed glue or boosting. Tenergy 05 is very popular among world-class table tennis players. European Champion Timo Boll uses Tenergy 05 on forehand and backhand.

Table Tennis Coach Pin-chan (Experience: More than 20 years) An 'auto-arc' rubber that builds arc for you

As the first rubber in the Tenergy series, its track record speaks for itself.
Beyond the balance of speed and spin, it was one of the rubbers that made a huge impact right after speed glue and boosting agents got banned.
And above all, the sound of the hit!
That crisp, metallic sound feels great when you hit the ball!
Personally I sometimes wished it were a bit harder... but then there's a Hard version too, so it really has everything covered.
Other than the price, there's really no notable downside to this rubber.
Maybe it's also a bit easier for opponents to read since so many people use it.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

Spin, speed, arc — it's a cut above in every category!
The one downside is durability. If you practice a lot, it might really hurt your wallet.
Still, as shown by the fact that pro players still use it, its potential is endless!!All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

I used max thickness on my forehand side.
The first thing I noticed hitting with it was that it's honestly hard to handle.
I'd only ever used German-made rubbers before, so when I closed the racket angle, the ball dropped more than I expected.
So you need to open the angle a bit and brush the ball, but with that swing, topspin rallies became super stable, and I was hitting drives with a ton of spin.
Hitting against backspin was easy.
Speed drives felt a little lacking in pace, but if you swing properly, the ball comes out with good spin.
Loop drives were really great.
The ball comes in sharp with an unbelievable amount of spin.
Flicks are stable too, and pushes and stops are no problem either.
If you're someone who hasn't used a hard rubber before, I think this would be pretty easy to hit with.
The stability and spin performance are amazing, so I think I'll keep using it going forward. All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

To sum it up first, this is genuinely a great rubber. Let me go through it point by point.
:Speed:
Out of all the rubbers I've used, this is one of the easiest to generate speed with.:Spin:
This is honestly on another level.
Even when you don't feel like you're putting in that much spin, your opponent still ends up hating it, so loops really bite with spin, which I think cuts down on situations where a connecting ball gets smashed easily.
:Control:
Since the hardness isn't that high, I don't feel like control is difficult, and the ball settles on the table well.
But when I hadn't played table tennis in a while, I did notice more long misses, and the ball tends to fly a bit. That's my personal take on the rubber.
But the biggest caveat is that if your actual skill doesn't match up, this rubber will just make you beat yourself. There was someone in middle school using Tenergy, but I don't think people without solid fundamentals should use it.
It really is a rubber that flies, and one where spin is everything, so if you don't even have the feel for generating spin in the first place, it's wasted on you.
So keep in mind this is all from an intermediate player's perspective.
If you're a beginner and curious about Tenergy, I think it's fine to start with Rozena first. All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

Switched over from Rakza Z.
Since the spin comes on automatically, it gives you a huge sense of security during rallies.
There's a bit of a knack to cutting the serve, but once you get used to it, you can actually go for backspin service aces.
It doesn't last long, but it's a great rubber that performs well above its price. All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

Pretty much no downsides.
Everything about it is top-level and easy to use.
Being an auto-spin type rubber, it doesn't produce weird, unpredictable balls, so I feel like it's also easy to read, but either way it's still a great rubber. It doesn't bounce as much as I expected in the short game either, which makes it easy to handle. If I had to name a downside, it'd be the price and how addictive it is.
Though having said all that, personally I actually prefer the 19.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

Used it on both forehand and backhand back when I was actively competing.
The spin just comes automatically.
Drives are easy to hit on both sides.
Even against backspin, the ball goes up easily.
You get a lot of spin on loops too.The only downside is that after I stopped competing and my practice volume dropped, it started to feel a bit hard.
